Keep in mind that Western gamers often prefer a different variety of poison to that generally found in the exotic East.

Agreed, Korea =/= ova here. A game could have 20 mil subscribers in S. Korea and it would still work totally opposite in the states, i.e. Lineage.

Waiting to try the beta, just to see what all of the fuss is about. I've already canceled my preorder, and I am NOT (srsly) going to buy it no matter what! Even if the beta is amazing, I realized I don't have tons of free time coming up in september, what with college and all.

Learning for the win!

Mr. G - Aion runs great on my 2-year old PC. And two years ago it was already pretty meh.

Just to show something - it runs Assassin's Creed on about Medium, High Medium. If you can run AC at Low Medium/Medium, you can run Aion.
Yeah mines chugging around 5 years now, it's only saving grace is the fact that it was a very good Pc back then.

and don't worry I'm not being pulled in by abes zealious speeches :P

I've played the game and it's quite good. It's just everytime someone mentions games I no longer play I get a huge flash of nostalgia...even if it was only a couple of months ago :P

New MMO > college. God, what are you trying to be, successful?

But yeah, no. I'll be back at school and I'll probably have a job by September. No time for a P2P game.

A lot of things are better than WoW and Aion, but those things are not on the list.

You're just a busta, CJ.

.

I like what I see in Aion so far and will prolly play it. No way am I not going to continue with GW and, when it comes out, GW2.

The final choice will depend on what Aion and GW2 play like at higher levels.
Maybe both

At the moment I'm thinking I'll cut down on my GW time but not quit altogether. Zquests etc will still keep me playing a little while each day, as will the friends I've made in-game. Aion is going to take up the majority of my gaming time, though - no point paying to play it if it doesn't.
